I grew up in Belgrade City, where my love for Architecture, Art, Design and photography was developed. I came to Ireland over 20 years ago for a visit, but fell in love with this country and have decided to stay.
As already mentioned, I worked as an Architect in Ireland for more than 8 years. Due to 2008's economic downturn's impact on the field of Architecture, but also due to my long-time interest in web-design, programming and software development, over 12 years ago I started advancing my education in IT sector in order to pursue a new career path.
In that regard, at Dublin Business School in 2011/12 I have completed one year course for Certificate in Software Development and Cloud Technologies and also passed the Microsoft examination and became MTA Certified Professional in Software Development (C#).
In 2012 I have completed the intensive Advanced course for Programming in Java at the International Academy of Computer Training in Dublin.
At Trinity College Dublin - School of Computer Science and Statistics I have completed the two years course (2012 - 2014) for Diploma in Information Systems.
Additionally, in August 2015 I have completed the accelerated course (2 years in 1) Higher Diploma in Mobile Technologies course at National College of Ireland (IFSC, Dublin 1), and obtained a Major Level 8 NFQ award as passed all exams with First Class Honours.
In relation to employment in IT, from August 2012 til 1st April 2013 I worked as a Quality Assurance (manual tester for iOS and Android mobile applications) and Developer (Java) at Ammeon Ltd., Dublin 2.
From March 2015 to March 2016 I have been employed in a role of a Software Developer (.Net technologies) and QA Analyst at FenestraPro, Dublin 2.
Between March and August 2016 I have been employed by National College of Ireland as Associate Faculty, in the role of UI / UX Designer and front-end developer.
From mid August 2016 to date, I am working in Soft-ex Communications Ltd, in the role of Software Test Analyst.
In relation to Architecture, I am studying at the University College Dublin School of Architecture for the Professional Diploma (Architecture), which is recognized by the RIAI for direct admission to the Register for Architects and the full membership of the RIAI. I have past all exams to date, with only Case Study and Oral examination left, though this has now been put to hold.
